1. The emergence of the Bauhaus Walstein saxophone line does appear to mark a turning point in Taiwan/PROC manufacturing. Let’s face it: PROC-made horns were often in the past deserving of the derision they received — soft keymetal, abominable intonation, you name it, the stories were true.

4. The Bauhaus has a focussed tone, you get the sense that you can point the horn in a certain direction and send the notes just 'there'. The Mauriat has more of a sawn-off shotgun approach - anyone in range gets an earful.

5. Aug 26,  · I was going to sell my SBA alto to buy a nice soprano but I decided against after spending some time on it today. It's a great horn and I will hang onto it. However my budget for a soprano has suddenly shrunk significantly. I've heard some good things about Bauhaus for a less expensive horn. Any thoughts on this model? There's one on ebay now.

8. It was the great idea of Gianfranco Bortolotti who, in , led the Media team to create the track "Bauhaus/Push The Beat", which had great success in clubs all over the world, entering many of the European charts, including the UK Top 50! The first breakthrough for Cappella.
